It rained! Yesterday. Today the sky is clear. I'm not going to enjoy it for long, because I'm heading back to Singapore for a week.
The last time I was back, my mother hid all the iPhone cables in the house on the day of my departure. After hunting for them I finally asked her where they were, and why she hid them in the first place. She prissily told me that she had caught on to my diabolical stealing of iPhone cables and spiriting them to Beijing with me. What diabolical stealing? I asked blankly. After many accusations and vehement denials I finally assured her that no such devious thievery would take place; I would charge my phone and buy my own cables like I should have in the first place, instead of engaging in such nefarious smuggling activities.
So I charged my phone, left the cables neatly rolled up on the living room cupboard, and left for China. When my sister and I touched down and reached our apartment, my phone was running low in battery, as smartphones are prone to do after too much tossing of angry birds around (or equivalent). My sister promptly reached into her bag and produced two iPhone cables stolen from my mother.
So I shall find a way to reverse sneak them back this time, and hope my mom doesn't notice.
